Born in the Bayou
It all started in 1980 with my uncle Roy's passion for creating a sauce that would not overpower smoked or grilled meat but rather compliment them. After many long hours of cooking and tweaking his recipe, he developed his original Bayou Dipping sauce.
A secret blend of ingredients and spices that had been perfected over time, created a sauce that became legendary in our small country community.
I grew up watching my uncle Roy tend to that sauce like it was liquid gold. I learned every step, every ingredient and every secret. And when I inherited the recipe, I knew I had something special.
Today, we're proud to share that same authentic bayou flavor with BBQ lovers everywhere.

Our Journey
From a small bayou kitchen to BBQ lovers nationwide.
The Beginning
Uncle Roy starts making his original bayou dipping sauce recipe in his BBQ cook shack, perfecting his recipe.
First Home Batch
The first home batch of the original bayou dipping sauce was made and sold to the public in pint mason jars.
Going Commercial
After years of producing the original dipping sauce in ten-gallon home batches and with the encouragement of our local customers, family and friends, we officially launched Boudreaux's Swamp Sauces.
Expanding the Line
With the overwhelming success of the original dipping sauce, in 2015 we expanded our product line and added four other sauces: Sweet and Tangy BBQ, Smokey Jalapeno Grill'n sauce, Honey Habanero BBQ sauce and our VooDoo Sauce.
